The region has two nine hole grass green golf courses to challenge you.

Smoky Lake Golf Course
One of the most scenic and challenging 9-hole golf courses in Alberta.

This Par 36, 3272 yard course also features a driving range, putting green, licensed club house, club and power cart rentals, Pro Shop, campsites and food service.

To get there take Highway 855 north. Cross Highway 28 from Smoky Lake and take the first left. Turn at the second right and into the Rodeo Grounds/Golf Course area (northwest of Town of Smoky Lake).

Vilna Golf Course

The Vilna Golf Course has rapidly improved from its early roots as a sand green course to one of the most popular grass green courses in the area. 

Flat terrain makes this 3100 yard, par 35, 9 hole, grass greens public golf course a very playable course and pleasant walk. 

Golfers can enjoy a fresh hotdog and an ice-cold drink in the newly built, handicapped accessible licensed clubhouse as well as rent a set of clubs, pull carts or one of the 18 power carts that are available. 

The Clubhouse Pro Shop also sells tees, new and used balls, gloves, clubs, shirts, shoes, towels, soft spikes as well as repairs and re-grips those favorite clubs.

Located just 1 mile east and 1 mile north of Vilna, the course conveniently borders both Bonnie Lake Resorts and Bonnie Lake Campground.
